Practical Onboard Sea Training

Regina Maria FrigateVT Flagship’s Practical Onboard sea training is designed to deliver whole ship skills training across all areas of ship operation; from marine and weapon engineering to bridge management and safe navigation.

Focusing on ship safety and damage control, our training provide trainees with the valuable skills to deal with emergencies on board.

Our Onboard Sea Training is delivered primarily by VT Flagship employees, often supported by naval personnel, all working to the highest Royal Navy standards.

VT Flagship’s practical onboard sea training crosses a broad capability

Drawing upon the expertise of personnel with a wide range of specialised backgrounds, we also offer training in areas such as hydrography and oceanography, as well as logistics.

Our operational training covers all areas of entry, whether individuals are new entry ratings or Senior Officers about to take command of a ship.  The training programme is phased to mirror that delivered at Flag Officer Sea Training (FOST), if appropriate or tailored to suit individual customers’ requirements.

Working with overseas navies to deliver varied packages of onboard training, our exclusive access to RN facilities means that VT Flagship is a world leader in delivering whole ship training.

With an established track record of delivering onboard sea training for a selection of overseas navies, VT Flagship is ideally placed to meet the training needs of your whole ship.
